All Star logo

I recently did this logo for a friend of mine starting a new Investment Consulting company called All Star Capital. They specialize in investment planning, particularly for professional athletes and business individuals. While a big focus is on sports, he did not want the logo to limit him to sports clientele only. He also wanted something professional but unique. We worked to create a logo that was "sporty" but that did not scream one particular sport. Above is the final outcome, and I think it works well for his needs. We will be working on a website soon so there will be more designs to come surrounding this business.

Music City Invitational 2011

Hard to believe it was just time for another Music City Invitational shirt. Seems like only yesterday I posted this. I am lucky to have the opportunity to create this shirt for the swim meet here in Nashville for the 6th year. This year, the design stemmed off the Nashville skyline rendering I created for the flood 2009. As always, we had a little country flair - which we did with the cowboy boots. Hope the little swimmers had a good meet and enjoyed their new shirts!

Silver Bells in the City

I have had the privilege for the last 5 years to create the Main Street Christmas Parade logo, fliers and postcards. This is such a fun project because it is whimsical and must appeal to families and children. There is always a different theme, and we work the design around that. This year, the theme was "Silver Bells in the City." Above is the final outcome of the postcard.

I'm Back!

Boy do I have some catching up to do! I do have a legit excuse as to why I haven't been keeping up with this blog. I had a baby in July which has kept me pretty preoccupied these days. Nevertheless, I have continued to work as much as I can. I have lots of projects to post, but I will begin with the most recent I finished up. It was a website design for Spectrum Properties in Franklin, TN. Check it out by clicking the image below.

A Fun Website Design

I recently did a website design for Maury Hills Church in Columbia, TN. They have a lot of young people in their congregation and wanted something cool, fun and attractive that would appeal to families. This was a really fun website to work on because it was so custom and involved a lot of art. The ideas stemmed from their Youth center and the beach/boardwalk image it portrayed. I also did the Children's logo on the Youth page above. Click on the images above to see more and learn about Maury Hills!

A Favorite Pick

Summer Songwriters Night 2011 is just around the corner! Hard to believe that it's here again...I feel like it was just yesterday that we created this design. This year, we went for another different look with a die cut guitar and real pick. I created this design in 2006 for an Easter Seals event at the home of the late Buddy Killen, Nashville music publisher and songwriter.

Since I created this one in 2006, it has always been one of my favorites. I have always wanted to re-use it for the appropriate event, and this was just the year with SSN 2011.

If you are looking for a fun outdoor event with great food and amazing entertainment, check out this year's Summer Songwriters Night. It is held at my grandmother's farm, Antrim, and is always an event to remember.

Antrim Celebrations website design

One of my most recent website designs was for my mom's new business endeavor, Antrim Celebrations. They have opened my grandmother's farm for weddings and events, and my mom will be a wedding coordinator for the place. This project was such a rewarding one, not only because I have many memories here myself, but because this has been a dream of my grandmother's to host events at her beautiful home. They have done events in the past but have never "officially" had a business. Finally a dream is becoming a reality. A special thanks to David Gibson for providing us some of these beautiful pictures that really captured the true beauty of this place!

Introducing Antrim! It's a gorgeous venue for outdoor events of all kinds. Check it out and learn more about this place and my grandmother...
